Check out our very own employee Mike Contreras as Shimmercore, he played all the instruments on the entire album (acoustic 12-string guitar, electric guitar, bass guitar, drums, percussion, sitar, harmonica, accordion, tambourine, violin, & keyboards) and self-released the CD - not a small feat. Since 2000, Mike Contreras has been performing and recording music in the Indianapolis, In area with several bands including Pop Lolita, Red Light Driver, Playboy Psychonauts, The Shivers, Thee Pernicious UniCats, Lunar Event, and The Shake Weights. Now under the Shimmercore moniker, a new solo album, “Dronelands” has been released to the world on October 11th, 2011.
