BACKLINE

We supply drums and a bass speaker cabinet and head! Please use our drums and bass setup to make load-in and changeovers easier. Feel free to bring your own breakables (cymbals, snare, etc); however, we have all of that if you prefer to use ours.

Drums: We have a 5-piece Premier Resonator kit plus hardware, Stagg brand cymbals (14" hi hats, 16" crash, 20" ride).

Bass rig: We have an Acoustic B410 4x10" bass cabinet, hitting 300w at 8ohms with a Gallien-Krueger Backline 250 Bass Head on top. The solid state GK 250 pushes 125W RMS at 8 ohms, and has a direct out (XLR) with pre/post switch, effect loop, and tuner out.

Guitar amp: We have a vintage combo amp for use, a Univox Stage 400. This solid state amp has 2 inputs, volume, clipping, bass, treble, reverb and master volume controls.  The spring reverb is nice and lush, creating washed out surf sounds.  The clipping controls a built in fuzz/distortion circuit, great for lofi drive tones and psychedelic 60's type leads.  This all runs into 2x10" speakers with an option to connect an 8ohm extension cabinet.

PARKING

Directly behind the shop/venue there are spots indicated as "INDY CD & VINYL EMPLOYEE PARKING ONLY" which, if available, are where you should land. PLEASE be sure you are not parking on the other side of this small lot marked as "Bazbeaux Parking Only," as these belong to our neighbor. If you park in the surface lot or alley next to the venue please be sure to pay for parking, as well as if you park at a meter. THEY WILL ticket your vehicle if you do not pay. If you have a van with trailer or bus PLEASE advance with the venue on arrangements for large vehicle parking. Once parked behind our shop please call our shop main number 317-259-1012 and let us know you have arrived, we will let you in the back doors for load-in.

ETC

If your event is a paid, ticketed, after-hours event keep in mind the earliest we can open doors is 8pm and our all-ages event sound curfew is 11pm. If your event is a free in-store performance our hours at the record store are 11a-7p Mon-Sat and 11a-6p Sun.

Indy CD & Vinyl carries Ernie Ball brand guitar and bass strings of all varieties, as well as guitar pick packs, guitar straps, guitar cables, instrument cables, patch cables, tuners, and more. No need to run to the nearest Guitar Center, we may have the emergency item you need here.​

We also have multiple cameras mounted through the venue that livestream shows on our branded YouTube channel, with synced audio via the sound board, ceiling-mounted Rode NT1 studio condenser microphones, or both.

DINING & SHOPPING

The historic Broad Ripple neighborhood is famous for its dining, shopping, and nightlife. While the venue is indeed attached to Indiana's most-awarded independent record shop, the opportunities to shop, eat, and be entertained elsewhere in the neighborhood are vast.
